This Chinese New Year,

It had been a decade,

You’re away,

Without you around,

Things had change a lot,

I became more independent,

And steadier I would say,

To think back that time,

We did a lot of things together,

Like going for picnic across the sea,

The time we had wasn’t long,

Just a short 12 years,

I wish you were here with me,

To see me graduate,

And grow into a lady,

But all these will not happen,

SurPRise!!

I got two surprise. One i got it yesterday, it's a sport shoe. My soon to be brother-in-law went to US, so i asked him to get me a pair of sport shoes as my old one have some holes at the bottom. It's white in colour.

then today, my sisters gave me another surprise in the afternoon. although it's belated, but who cares? at least they have the heart to get me something...
something i need and wanted.

yeah... hooray for me, as my laptop space left only 3Gb out of 160Gb,
it will be useful for me. so nice... hehehe...

CNY eve

It's CNY eve... and that means as busy as a bee... let me explain why...

first of all, i woke up at 6.00am... early right?
then, i have to go to the market to buy a list of stuffs...
eg. siu bak(roasted pork), kuih, apples, flowers, noddles, beancurd, 'loh bak' and etc...
all the stuffs were used for praying purpose. then i helped my mum in preparing and getting the table ready for praying the ancestor... here's picts to share...
it's my creation... hehehe... does it look nice? it's not as easy as it looks...
it's not an easy job to prepare all these and my sis pula don't really help in preparing so i'm the only one who can help my mum buying all the things... it's a bit tiring...

Back to Penang...
Going to KL from KK and back to Penang from KL was a tiring thing to do as had to wait for hours. Addition to that, I have to help my sis as she got BIG BIG ang pow before new year... kesian her also... So i'm a bit like 'kuli' when we fly back to Penang.
LCCT as we know, not as big as KLIA. and the free wifi at LCCT was definitely bad compared to KLIA. It's not only slow but sometimes, it'd limited connection. Instead going online at LCCT, i watch some movies. Luckily i had my laptop with me, else i'll be bored to death...

Pesta Ang Pow 2009

On the 17 of January 2009, it’s an important date. Why? Because it’s Pesta Ang Pow 2009. It had been a year. As I said in my blog last year, it is an event that held annually. This year’s event begun with the singing of the theme song by UMS student. Eeleen was in there too. The events continue with the singing from a choir and the member consists of adult that are more than 40 years old. Their singing was really beautiful.Next was the break dance by UMS students too. One of my course mates Esien was the break dancer. Their dance was awesome. This year, they had a lot performers that were invited to perform in this pesta ang pow.
There were lion dance performances, dragon dance, ‘bian lian’(change face magic show), ‘che ling’, Chinese orchestra and wushu performances. This year they also invite an artist to perform. The artist is a local artist, Karen Kong. She sang some songs, I can’t remember the title but her voice was powerful. Overall this years Pesta Ang Pow was definitely better than last years, but there’s still room for improvement. It’s a good job to all the committees. Well done!!

Happy B'day fren...

On Friday(16/1/09), it’s my friends 22^nd b’day. He’s nice, cute n kinda handsome too… He’s like a Bro to me. He is non other than Tan Jia Yaw. His housemates and him organized a small party at their rented house. His housemate had forbidden him to invited guy friends (other than his course mates) because all his housemates are guy. So he can only invite girls. Hehehe… They catered from a coffee shop and the food taste good. They wanted to ‘kenakan’ him so they asked the girls for help to make him out from the house. Then they throw flour at him. As I was the camera gal, I’m there to take the ‘candid’ pictures. But unfortunately, one of my course mates threw the flour at me. My face was covered with flour… T.T but end of the day at least we had fun, only certain guys that’s not ‘sporting’ enough to join the ‘fun’.

It's a bit troublesome as we need to book AT LEAST 3MONTHS in ADVANCE.
The weather there is UNPREDICTABLE.

Some of my friend(like yee ling) had conquer it, so I have to...
Mine will be on 13 n 14 of MAY...
but before that, i have to TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN...
so that i can conquer it, not the other way round...

Had been a week...

It had been one week plus I came back from Penang to Sabah. A bit of disappointment, out of 12 days, i'm back here, I had been 'sick' for 8 days. Haiz... I felt lately my health condition is kind of bad. From KL to Penang, from Penang to Sabah. I had been sick for 3 times. This time, I had running nose and sore throat.

I'm a stubborn person and I don't like to go to have a 'chat' with doctor, therefore, doctor is not one of my list. hehehe... This feeling of being sick was very tiring. I have problem in hearing, and when i go into a room, it seem full of noise when everybody is chatting, and it really make me feel uncomfortable.

Can u imagine, being in this situation for more than ONE WEEK?? and still feeling the same way as I'm just recovering. How long more can I stand it. Ok, besides that, many class cancelled during the 1st week. Lecturer too 'hardworking' ma. Till today, most of the classes that i attend still in the surface of the course, only certain lecturer dive into deeper.

One thing I'm looking foward to is GOING back to PENANG on Chinese New Year. So nice la... 6 more days to go. and 6 more days to meet my 'girl friend'.hehehe... miss her so much...

Penang n Sabah

Goodbye Penang, and Sabah, 'here I come again'... hehehe... I went back to Sabah to continue my journey of studying on the 4th of Jan. Although I like Sabah a lot, of the sceneries and places, but I do miss Penang a lot, of the FOODS and FRIENDS...

It'd been 1 year and half I stepped into the 'land below wind' and I'd been to many places, but as many would say, "there's no place better than HOME". When I was back at Penang, I ate a lot. Although I didn't really meet up with a lot of friends, but I do meet some of them, like Hooi Fong, Jaryn, Kok Quin, Suk Qian, Kar Yee, Chia Yinn, Yueh Yih, Ying Jin, Kang Rui, Eu Ping and of course last but not least Ting Sew.

We met up at Gurney Tower's Starbucks. Finally a change of place after so long being in E-gate... hehehe... not that I hated E-gate, but sometimes got bored of it. Ok, back to the story. It's nice to meet up with after a long time especially when you're out station doing your studies. Then you can share a lot of 'stories' with them. When we met, we were talking and asking how each other were doing. Everyone were looking great and sharing experiences they gone through when in their University.

First timer...

If my friend is me, she would say not 'virgin' anymore. hehehe but it's not because of having sex, don't think it in a 'serong' way k... Today i took MAS(Malaysian Airlines) to Sabah. It's not my first time to Sabah of course, as I'm studying there. But it's also not my first time flying with MAS, so what do I mean by "first timer"??

Actually this is my first time stepping my foot to KLIA(Kuala Lumpur International Airport). So many times I travelled to Sabah, all is by Air Asia. Normally is cheaper, but that day when I was checking the ticket price, MAS shown a cheaper vaue. But of course it's not direct flight like Air Asia. Depends on how you want to think it, getting a cheaper but a bit more trouble or save the trouble but pay more... So I choosed the CHEAPER one.

My sis and I went for breakfast at cousin's place before she send me off to the airport. I reached airport at about 9.30am and my flight to KL was at 10.45am. Just in time for me to check-in. I reached KL at 11.40am. I had a long time before I board for the next flight from KL to Sabah.

When I reached KLIA, the first thing to do was to get my bags. I had to walk about 5-10 mins before I get to the "bag retrival" area. The area was really HUGE... KLIA is GIGANTICly huge too... It's really awesome that I got to step my foot in KLIA. I did go around to snaps photo. So will let u guys see at the next post...

What can I really say bout KLIA, it's huge, full with people but not pack with them, lots of things and food, and it's a great experience to be there...

Happy New Year...

Hey, guys and gals, it's 1st of January, meaning it's a brand NEW Year... hehehe... It's already 2009. Wow, so fast. Today i had a really BUSY day. Why?? Let me tell you the story. It shall start from 12am as it's how the day started.

I went to my friends house, to celebrate her grandma's birthday, as we bake a cake for her yesterday. The chilled cheese cake. hehehe... Then i stay over at her house. In the morning, we went to market to get the ingredients that we need for the dessert and dinner that we're going to prepare.

In the morning, we slept at about 3am, but we woke up at about 9.30am... Pity us, but since we have a BUSY day ahead of us, we have to move our butt up from the bed. Haiz. We went to the market and TESCO to buy the things that we need. Then, when we reached home, we started with the dessert.

Preparing the dessert was not easy although it's a simple dessert. It's "Fu chok yee mai" dessert. My all time fav and the one i like to cook the most although not easy. Many things to prepare. After preparing the dessert, we went for lunch. Our lunch was at about 2.30pm. I know it's kinda late, but what to do? I'm a follower today. hehehe...

Then, we went back to continue preparing the dinner. We cooked spaghetti, mushroom+chicken soup, garlic bread for dinner. Although it's WE cooked, but I did a lot of things la. I'm just so exhausted at the end of the day where I did not follow my friend to Gurney for a walk. I was very full too. hehehe... I think it was a great day to start a new Year... heeheh
