Last Day in 2008

Wow, wow, wow... today is the last day in 2008. ok, 2008?? what had i really done in YOU? might be little, might be a lot. Maybe it's a lot la. I had been to places, i never been to, like Kudat, in Sabah, watched the most Beautiful sunset ever till now... And turn 21 this year. such a memorable year. A lot of things had happened lately. Things changed, I changed, and YOU changed too... for a better year ahead? I hope so.

What did I really do at this last day of the year? I learned new things today. Learned how to bake a 'Chilled Cheese Cake'. I'm 'famous' for cooking spaghetti, and baking chocolate moist cake, but today i learned to bake cheese cake. I was really thrilled. As cooking and baking is some of my passion.

Early in the morning, my 'sifu' of the day came to my house, around 9am like that. I was so so sleepy as I slept at 3 in the morning. Pity me, but what to do? I'd promise to help her in baking the cake.

Let me tell you about this 'sifu' a bit. It's a SHE. RARELY bake and cook, but can teach me how to bake cheese cake... Not bad right. hehehe... She is Lettecia... hahaha... You may laugh but it's the truth, she did teach me how to bake it, but mostly i do the job. I can say she's the WAsher... hehehe...

OK, lets get back to the cake. I forgotten to take photographs of the processes, but i guess it don't really matter. She came early to my house, then we went to get the ingredients. Total cost, not really a big sum.

When she taught me, in my heart, "actually not that hard only. Haiz, thought that it would be harder... Baking chocolate moist cake is definitely harder than this, hehehe..." but since, she is the 'sifu', i don't really want to tell her lo... hehehe... She also told me that this is "pun tua lang cho ye cake" which means, a cake baked by lazy people. heheh... but definitely a good chance for me to learn new things.

After baking the cake, later at night, will be going out, not for countdown but for some programs. then going back to celebrates her grandma's birthday, that's why she bake a cake. A good granddaughter right? how i wish she bake a cake for my birthday... hehehe... i think that's all for now... chaos... see you next year...

getting a key

IN where i lived, a key symbolized freedom, given to the child by their parents when they turn 21. this year is my turn. although this is not my real date, it's just a sharing. Anyway, i gotten my key way earlier. A key to house when i was form 1 or 2, a key for car and motorcycle when i'm form six, so that's really freedom to me.

THE fun part is, when i turned 21, i didn't any keys from my family member. Instead, i got it from a friend. She gave it to me as a birthday present. so nice of her. But i still hutang her, her birthday present that i promised to make her 1... sabar la ya... having some technical problem.

A of my friends celebrating their 21st b'day this year. But i can say mine was extraordinary. wana know why? I celebrated for 4 times. ya, you hear me right, 4 TIMES. the 1st 'party' was thrown to me by my coursemates. they bought KFC, drinks and a cake... really nice of them... then the 2nd 'party' was thrown to me by mine 2nd sis in SABAh... she and her friends cooked for me on the real date. i invited some of my friends to attend.

THEN the 3rd 'party' was with 'YEYE' family. a family bond i formed with some of my friends. they are really nice. and most of them are gals. most importantly, AVAILABLE. so guys... if u wana look for one, juz tell me... hehehe

WHEN i return to my hometown, i have the 4th party. of course this was with my family and closest friends. unfortunately, 2 of them cant attend as they were busy with their work... THis year's birthday was the most memorable of all... thanks guys for all ur hardwork and PRESENTS... i really appreciate it...

i had nothing to blog lately so i will share something about FACEBOOK... i haven't been updating my FACEBOOK for quite some time, so for the past few days, i'd been uploading a lot of photo into it... n i really mean A LOT... around 10 albums and roughly 200 picts... then i told my friend about it, she scolded me 'ki siao la lu' which means, you're crazy... hahaha... but somehow i enjoy uploading it and waiting for my friends to comment it...
I started to play Pet Society in Facebook, although a bit of childish, but no harm if we try to be like a kid... i'm enjoying the point and money collecting part... hehehe

Shopping Spree

FINALLY, after a trip to KL, i'm back in PENANG... I would say KL trip was really an 'experience' to me... I went to KL for 10 days and I'm SICK for 4 days.... so malang... i was in Lett's house staying with her for the whole 10 days... kesian that she had to take care of me during her exam season...
when i finally recovered, i had indiggestion for a few days as my stomach was too empty when i was sick. Although having indiggestion, i went for shopping at few places on my own, as Lett was having her exam. With some guide from her, i went to TIMES SQUARE, MID VALLEY, SUNWAY PYRAMID and SUMMIT(a mall like perangin near her house). I managed to get only a few shirts and a pair of pants during my shopping. Luckily i get something, if not lagi malang as i really don't know what to buy...
Overall, it wasn't a really nice trip afterall... but i can say i learned something.

Holiday To Do List

hehehe... since I'm in my hometown already, i have plenty of things to do... below are some things i have in mind.

*Go KL(shopping of course but unfortunately no cash in hand... haiz...)
*LOok for a part time Job (so that can overcome my expenses)
*Help mum
*help cousin in t-shirt printing(if she manage to do the business)
*Go for movies with my 'gina peng'... heeehee...
*Chui kow with friends of course... miss them a lot after half a year din meet...

Spirit of Penang

Today, i went through my friends blog, and I found SPIRIT OF PENANG from Mei Ying's blog... some picts i didn't get it, so I grab from her blog. Many will wonder what is Spirit Of Penang? Some might have a great laugh, because they had experience it. It's a competition for sixth former or Uni students. My friend and I went to join and we got something out of it. Experience and of course some Prize. Many will kill me for this as they did not win anything, instead, my group (Seize the Day) consisted of Mei Ying, Chia Yinn, Shu Kuan and me, won the FIRST prize. I really had a great laugh when i flash back the picts... Let me share some of it...

CE family Day... fun... fun... fun...

Fun, right? Never thought that coming to Sabah will be fun, but it's the truth. Pictures describe a thousand words, so i don't have to use my 'air liur' to pujuk people to come here. Just show them the picts and they will get jealous. End up, coming to Sabah... hehehe...

The journey of me in UMS haven't end yet as I still have 2 years and half to go. So keep track of the news... hehehe...

Yellow Army Boot Camp

Last saturday and sunday, i went to Mamutik for YA boot camp. waited for quite some time d, coz the plan was on and off and on again. actually we were supposed to have our extra class on that Sat but luck was at our side, so we managed to go to the island.
I'm supposed to be happy because it was not SAPI again. now it's MAMUTIK. but, on that morning, it was raining non-stop. I was thinking,"Oh, no! how?? raining non-stop wor, wat to do? but luckily i brought raincoat... hehehe, kesian my frens tat didn't bring". When we reach at Jesselton Point, it was still raining. Unfortunately, I forgotten my wallet. Meaning no money, no ic and most importantly NO STUDENT CARD... how?? alamak. but luckily the boatmen quite nice i think...

Let's start the journey to the island. We took off at about 2.00pm. The sea was unpredictable, that time was kind of wavey. So the whole journey there was like a roller coaster ride, the good new was it doesn't go as tall at 5-10m above the sky. but the bad news was the journey was around 20-30 mins. so imagine, a roller coaster ride for about that long... haiz... and i just taken a few slices of bread, luckily i didn't throw out that moment.

When we reached that island, there were a few tent that already set up. Then we ate our lunch, i didn't manage to finish my rice. but the food was not bad. after that we started our activities such as treasure hunt, volley ball and BBQ at night. the volleyball game was not as simple as you guys think. but it's kinda hard to explain it here. so don't plan to explain... only those who played understand the feeling... hehehe... we really had fun there although both days were raining non-stop. we also had group presentation. overall my group, 1-2-jus manage to be the overall champion. hehehe... here are some picts...
