On Sunday night (3/2/2008), I went to the ‘City Cultural Extravaganza’ organized by the DBKK (Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu). The show will be held on 3rd, 4th and 5th of February.They have a lot of cultural performances from different part of the world such as Ireland, Spain, Scotland, Poland, Kenya, Ukraine, Brazil, New Zealand and of course from our country itself.
The show was supposed to start on 7.30 p.m. but it started quite late (around 8.10 p.m.). The opening dance was performed by local Sabahan, and the interesting part was, the performers were kids (age range 5-10). The opening was amazing and of course cute…
After that, we were entertained by the performers from different parts of the world. The dance I liked the most was the dance performed by the Spanish. They were really amazing. The shows ended at almost 12 midnight. The spectators were given the opportunity to take photographs with the dancers. Overall, I really enjoyed the show.
